We have received a lot of general questions about paying rent. Below are answers to a lot of frequently asked questions.
How can I make payment for my student?
The easiest way to make a payment on behalf of your student is to send us a check. Checks should be made out to Esponda Associates, please include your name and university in the memo line. Checks should be mailed to:

Payments can also be made by Credit Card, Debit Card, or ACH, either by making a one-time payment via RentCafé, using the one-time payment authorization form, or by contacting us by emailing [email protected].
Do I have to make payment in full or are there other payment options available?
Payments in full are always encouraged, however, we understand that a payment plan might be desirable for several reasons. To set up a semesterly or monthly payment plan please fill out the appropriate form, which can be found by clicking the links below. After you have filled out the form, we will contact you to confirm. If you need a payment plan that is not semesterly or monthly, please contact us by emailing [email protected].
Does the rental fee include chapter dues?
Chapter dues are not included in the fees paid to Esponda Associates. You should check with your chapter Master and Exchequer if you have questions about dues.
Do you charge a fee for payments made by Credit/Debit Card?
Payments made via credit or debit card are subject to a processing fee, charged by our credit card processor. The specific amount is dependent on what network your card belongs to:
- Visa: 2.2%
- Mastercard: 2.2%
- Discover: 2.2%
- American Express: 3.0%
Do you charge a fee for payments made by ACH?
There is no extra charge for a payment made by ACH.
Do you charge a fee to add a recurring payment plan?
There is no extra charge for setting up a payment plan. However, please note that if payments are made with a credit or debit card, your card will be charged the processing fee for each payment.
