As we continue to monitor the evolution of COVID-19 responses by campuses across the country, we know that many schools have closed campus facilities or moved classes fully online in order to comply with the CDC’s “social distancing” recommendations. We encourage each of you to follow the example set by your academic institution and the advice of government authorities. This is a precarious situation and we urge you to take it seriously.
We continue to highly encourage chapters to cancel or postpone all social events and other gatherings scheduled in the near future. Please limit access to the chapter house to individuals who live or work there and make sure you are regularly cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces. If you feel unwell, you should immediately distance yourself from everyone else and seek medical attention. Please encourage your fellow tenants to do the same.
We know that many students have already left and some students still plan on leaving school and staying at home for an extended period, we ask that you please keep us informed of any extended absences.
